The first Mercury KX1 prototypes hit the test harness

The first prototypes have hit the test harness this week. Production modules are expected to be available starting April 2013, and can be ordered now.

The Mercury KX1 FPGA module offers the best performance-to-price-ratio Xilinx® Kintex®-7 FPGAs in conjunction with the latest high-speed standard interfaces like USB 3.0, PCIe Gen2 and Gigabit Ethernet. With up to 406,720 LUTs, up to 1,540 DSP slices, many LVDS-capable I/Os and large DDR3 SDRAM, the Mercury KX1 is as well-suited for high-end digital signal processing, communications and networking as it is for high-speed I/O applications. more
