Meeting the Experts at Technical Presentations

• July 3, 17:20 CET: Dr. Harry Commin, Lead FPGA/SoC Firmware Engineer, presented "Fixed-Point Python Co-simulation." This session delved into efficient fixed-point arithmetic, a cornerstone for implementing numerical algorithms in digital hardware. Dr Commin explored real-world challenges and solutions in fixed-point development, covering algorithm design, performance analysis, HDL implementation, and verification.


• July 4, 13:30 CET: Join Oliver Bründler, Staff Engineer, for "All About AXI - Navigating Standards, Pitfalls and Implementation on AMD Devices." This presentation equipped attendees with the fundamentals of AXI standards, highlighting common pitfalls and considerations for AMD infrastructure. They learned to build AXI components, manage backpressure in AXI4-Stream, and created AXI4 slaves and masters utilizing HDL and HLS.

Participants experienced the groundbreaking Pluto XZU20 firsthand. This ultra-compact portable embedded intelligence module was on display at our spot. Attendees could explore our latest product offerings and witness a live Low Latency Video Demo featuring the powerful combination of AMD Zynq™ UltraScale+™ and Pluto XZU20 FPGA technology.
