FPGA Hardware
Overview
With its detailed knowledge of the hardware-side requirements of the various FPGA types, wide-ranging expertise in hardware design in general and experience with high-speed hardware design in particular, Enclustra is perfectly qualified to design and implement the optimum FPGA hardware.
On request, Enclustra also takes on the organisation of prototype production with external partners.
Development Tools
Enclustra regularly uses the following development tools:
- Schematic entry, high-speed design and simulation
- Layout and routing:
Applications
Enclustra has experience and already tested circuits in the following applications:
- FPGA configuration
- FPGA copy protection
- Efficient power supply
- Clock generation (X-Tal, VCO, PLL)
- RF amplifiers and filters, LNA
- Laser control (biasing and modulation)
- Ethernet PHY
- Fast memory (SRAM/SDRAM)
- Transmission line termination, routing and simulation
- Differential signals
- Multi-Gigabit SERDES interfaces
- PCI / PCI-X / PCI Express
As a speciality, Enclustra offers a collection of analog functions that are implemented with an FPGA and (practically) without external components. In FPGA-based systems, these components can often be used to optimise space and performance requirements and therefore also system costs:
- FPGA ADC
- FPGA DAC
- FPGA operational amplifier
- FPGA comparator
- FPGA Schmitt-trigger
- FPGA temperature sensor
- FPGA PLL
- FPGA oscillator
- FPGA current sensor
